a note about this piece: it will change! 😱 i’m working on something that will eventually make this piece dynamic. yes, i have the power to update it, even after you mint it. crazy i know, blockchains are wild. i’ll communicate about the update when it’s done, for now, we wait. *suspense*

artist interviews are back.

in 2021 and 2022 i had a pretty consistent interview practice that allowed me to feature fellow artists via live recorded audio interview sessions. these were output as a biweekly podcast series called the 1:1 which i decided to take a break from last year in an attempt to focus on ramping into my coding practice.

now that i’ve got a solid programming foundation under me, i’d like to get back to the interview practice and will get going this week. i’ll be chatting with the talented rodrigo bardin! if you’d like to join live, you can do so this friday, jan. 5th @ 10am pst. i’ll be hosting a spaces and diving into all things COLORIDA, rodrigo’s latest photography series.

it’s worth mentioning that while the 1:1 was focused solely on the women and non-binary creators in the nft space, i realized through my efforts that i didn’t feel good about alienating any one group in order to elevate the visibility of others. as i jump back into this i want to find a way to achieve an inclusive artist balance that highlights people across the spectrum(s).
